Board meeting minutes
Meeting was called to order at 10:00 AM by Mike Bohannan, Chairman and a board quorum was recognized.
In attendance: Mike Bohannan Chairman, Cindy Wade Secretary, Sue Price Treasurer, Mike Bailargeon, Rhonda Sweezy, Margarita Sargent, Jennie Keller, Lezlie Corbin Lisa Binns, Tom Berggren .
We did not have a membership quorum for our annual meeting, so we could not count votes for the bylaw amendments and approve the proposed budget for the year. The meeting was not adjourned and instead the meeting was recessed the meeting until June 11, 2016.
It was agreed that since we did have a board quorum we would use this time to handle any board business and discussion only with members who were in attendance.
Approval of the minutes from April 16, 2016. Sue price moved to accept the minutes as written. It was seconded by Mike Bailargeon. Motion passed unanimously.
Unfinished business:
Lezlie Corbin reported back to the board on her research regarding locks for the water. There have been several occasions over the last year where the water was left unlocked for anybody to use. After discussion the issue was tabled until more review is done.
Lisa Binns reported that the fall fest is tentatively being scheduled for September 24, 2016. Volunteers for event planning are needed they will have their first meeting Saturday May 28 at noon under the pavilion. They encourage you to attend if possible.
Sue Price reported that the county has the CCPCPA property classified incorrectly for taxes. Tom Berggren moved to allow Sue to do further research on the situation and report back to the board to handle as Board business via email/ it was seconded by Mike Bailargeon. Motion passed unanimously.
Sue price reported on the new contract the state is requiring us to sign for the state land truck. After discussion, Tom Berggren moved to allow Sue to do more research on this situation and report back to the board via email as Board business it was seconded by Lisa Binns motion passed unanimously.
New business:
The Cabela’s raffle was drawn and the $100.00 gift card was won by Margarita Sargent and the $50.00 gift card was won by Lezlie Corbin.
The ballots for the election board members were counted and the following people were voted to the board.

The new board met and voted on officers for 2016-2017.

Meeting was recessed until June 11, 2016 at 12:00 when we will need a quorum to complete the annual membership business we encourage members to attend. Those in attendance will receive a hamburger for you and your family.
Meeting was re-adjourned June 11, 2016.

A membership was quorum of 27 was established.
Lisa Binns, spoke about upcoming events scheduled for July 2, 2016 and September 24, 2016.
After discussion the votes were counted for the Bylaw amendments and they passed by a vote of 38. Since this vote changes the number of board members require you will be provided with an updated board member list for 2015-2016
Discussion about new insurance requirements and the cost to keep the state land truck. Mike Bailargeon moved to keep the truck and add the additional insurance. It was seconded by Mike Jones. Motion passed unanimously.
There was discussion regarding the water being found unlocked multiple times in the past year. This was voted on by the board via email to get a new lock that requires you to lock the lock in order to get your key out of the lock. Cindy Wade moved that the lock change take effect July 2 and if a member loses their key they will have to pay $25.00 charge to get a replacement. It was seconded by Tom Berggren. Motion passed unanimously.
There was discussion about the budget. Cheryl Becker moved to accept the proposed budget. It was seconded by Mike Bailargeon. Motion passed unanimously.
Sue Price updated the membership on the county tax reclassification. After discussion, Beth Malmgren moved to change the tax status to Common Area Use. It was seconded by Linda O’Kelley. Motion passed unanimously.
